SAN FRANCISCO, California, September 30th, 2025 Power Factors has strengthened its senior leadership team with two powerhouse industry appointments: Ricardo Wigman, formerly of GE Vernova, becomes Chief Delivery Officer (CDO), and Albert Hofeldt, PhD, from Stem, takes on the role of Chief Product Officer (CPO).

Ricardo joins Power Factors as CDO to lead the next phase of global expansion for Power Factors’ SCADA, EMS, and PPC business. With more than two decades of leadership experience in the energy sector, Ricardo has built and scaled high-performing teams for some of the industry’s leading technology companies. He joins Power Factors following 11 years at GE Vernova, most recently as General Manager of Grid Software for EMEA, and previously spent a decade at Atos, as Executive Vice President of Consulting & Systems Integration for LATAM.

Ricardo will succeed George Konstantoulakis, who has spent 25 years establishing Power Factors’ leadership in SCADA and EMS as the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Inaccess, acquired by Power Factors in 2022. Today, Power Factors has more than 70 GW of solar, wind, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and hybrid projects under monitoring and control in 70+ global energy markets. George will transition to a new advisory role as Executive Director of SCADA & EMS and will partner closely with Ricardo to further Power Factors’ lead in SCADA and EMS globally.

Albert joins Power Factors as CPO and brings a wealth of cleantech industry experience, including deep expertise in the deployment and ongoing management of BESS and hybrid renewable assets. Over the past decade, Albert has held multiple senior leadership roles in energy technology, most recently as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of energy storage company Stem, where he led a 200-person team. Other technology leadership roles include CTO at LiquidX and Genscape (now Wood Mackenzie), where he designed and launched next-generation platforms and led high-performing product and tech teams.

Albert will be responsible for the vision and ongoing growth of Power Factors’ flagship Unity Renewable Energy Management Suite, developing cutting-edge AI-driven solutions to empower Power Factors’ 600+ customers in the end-to-end operations of their renewable energy portfolios.

“The global energy transition is about more than deploying more wind turbines, solar panels,  and battery storage. Renewable energy owners and operators need technologies to manage their growing portfolios with confidence, compliance, and profitability at scale. That’s why we created Unity, and I am thrilled to welcome Albert and Ricardo to the Power Factors family to take Unity to the next level. Their standout talent and deep expertise will play an essential role in supporting the world’s leading renewable energy producers in the energy transition,” said Julieann Esper Rainville, CEO of Power Factors.

Ricardo and Albert join at a pivotal moment in Power Factors' growth. The company recently surpassed 310 GW of renewables and 38 GWh of BESS under management globally, with recent projects including one of the world’s largest standalone BESS projects in Arizona and utility-scale solar-plus-storage projects in Texas and California. Today, Power Factors is one of the most widely deployed renewable energy management solutions in the market, with more than 18,000 sites under management in more than 70 countries.
