Our latest our white paper explores how a new breed of intelligent Energy Management Systems is redefining BESS operations, driving profitability, efficiency, and lasting value.
With decades of hands-on experience delivering complex hybrid projects, Power Factors brings field-tested and operationally mature solutions to a market demanding proven expertise.
Leading global industrial and energy company METLEN has chosen Power Factors’ Unity Renewable Energy Management Suite (REMS) for technical and commercial asset management of its fast-growing solar, wind, and battery energy storage system (BESS) portfolio.
A longstanding customer of Power Factors’ SCADA, EMS and PPC solutions, METLEN will now integrate Unity Asset Performance Management (APM) with Advanced Insights, Asset Oversight, and Invoice Management into its global operations.
This expanded partnership comes as METLEN enters a new phase of growth for its global renewable energy portfolio: the company now has operations spanning five continents, over 40 countries, and more than 11 GW of wind, solar and BESS in various stages of development.
With technical asset management through Unity APM with Advanced Insights, METLEN gains a single source of truth for every solar, wind, and BESS asset in its portfolio. Using Unity APM’s performance intelligence, METLEN’s asset management team can easily identify underperformance, reduce losses, and maximize generation across the company's global portfolio.
Asset Oversight and Invoice Management will unify financial, contractual, and operational oversight for METLEN’s commercial asset management team, ensuring seamless control of compliance requirements, contracts, invoices and financial statements.
Together, Unity REMS provides a streamlined 360-degree view of METLEN’s footprint across the globe, combining performance intelligence with real-time monitoring and control from Power Factors SCADA, EMS and PPC.
“Power Factors has been a trusted technology partner of METLEN for several years, and the decision to broaden our collaboration reflects our commitment to operational excellence and digital integration,” said Thomas Vakalikos, Head of Asset Management – Europe, Global Operations, METLEN. “Unity uniquely addresses the scale and complexity of our global renewable portfolio, enabling METLEN to further enhance asset performance, drive revenue optimization, and support our continued growth across key markets."
“The complexity of METLEN's operations, and its ambitions for global growth, are a perfect example of why we created Unity REMS,” said Julieann Esper Rainville, CEO, Power Factors. “Unity eliminates silos between teams, regions and assets, streamlining operations so that renewable energy operators can focus their resources where they truly add value. MΕTLEN’s vision for growth is what the renewable energy industry needs right now, and we are proud to support their continued success."
